It's Time for New Blood in West Virginia
It is far past time for a government in West Virginia that works for ALL West Virginians. Not one that is only concerned with political fights and self-dealing. Jon Hague is running for State Senate to change all that. To create a new West Virginia with effective, moral leadership where ALL share in the blessings of liberty.
In order to create a better West Virginia we have to tackle a few tough issues. Our economic crisis, the addiction crisis, and a political elite that has failed West Virginia for decades. West Virginia is a land of potential. From our rich resources to our welcoming people. And there is NO reason for our people to languish in poverty and despair -- WE CAN SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS!
But we need a new type of elected representative. One that is open to change, willing to try new things, and desiring to break the current political system and create a new one.
If we keep electing the same type of people, we will keep getting the same results.
We all know this. Now is the time to act on it. Only new people, dedicated to achieving the best for the people of West Virginia should be elected. The people who have held public office before have had their chance and they have failed. Failed, and failed, and failed. And it is this lack of results that is the reason I am running. I am running because when our leaders fail, everyday people need to step into the vacuum. I am running because the people of West Virginia deserve better than they have.
I believe a successful candidate for public office should be wise, willing to sacrifice their own interests for the public good, be open to new ideas, and have as their only boss the people of West Virginia. Several things separate me from every other candidate running.
- I'm the only candidate that is a political outsider. Everyone else is part of the political elite that has created the mess we are in.
- I'm the only candidate that is a working class West Virginian.
- I'm the only candidate who is interested in big, large scale change in West Virginia.
- And I'm the only candidate WITH A PLAN TO FIX OUR PROBLEMS.
If you are happy where West Virginia is then you have a great deal of candidates to choose from who will keep doing what they have done in the past. But if you, like me, are looking for a new direction and a new type of leadership, someone who is not indebted to the political elite and wanting to change West Virginia's direction then I would humbly ask you to consider me. I thank you for your support.
Kanawha County Deserves a Leader Who Understands Real Issues.
Jon Hague is a former state employee, PTO member, Little League Coach, Chamberlain Elementary volunteer, husband and father of two. As such he knows what it means to struggle to raise a family. To struggle to make ends meet and wonder if you'll ever get ahead. He understands how difficult it is here and now. This is something that none of the other candidates understand. Every one of them is a millionaire and the issues of everyday West Virginians just aren't important to them.
Jon understands the needs of everyday West Virginians and knows the policies necessary to achieve true prosperity for West Virginia.
